Re: After doing 12th without Maths can I do MCA after BCA? In order to join MCA course, Mathematics is necessary. But it is not necessary i all the academic levels. If you Mathematics either at 10+2 level or at Graduation level, that is more than enough in making your eligible to join MCA course. Here is the complete eligibility criteria to join MCA course. You should have completed your Graduation with a minimum of 50% of marks. Relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam in order to give admission for this course. As you have completed BCA course, you are eligible to join MCA course irrespective of your stream in 10+2. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and get admission for MCA course in a top college. Try to secure minimum of 60% of marks in your MCA course. Apply for the job opportunities from the final year of your MCA course and make sure that you will be having job in hand by the time you come to outside market for job opportunities. Re: After doing 12th without Maths can I do MCA after BCA? hi,,, After doing 12th without Maths can I do MCA after BCA 1.you must have secure 50% marks in your 12th 2.And to apply for MCA , you have to first complete your BCA 3.you must have maths in your 12th 4.admission in MCA Entrance Examinations Like IIT (JAM), NIMCET, JECA are conducted.for admission in MCA college you have to scored good marks in entrance exam. 5.MCA is two year course for this you have to pass graduation with maths.without maths you are not eligible for MCA exam. all the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: After doing 12th without Maths can I do MCA after BCA? Yes, you can do the MCA course. but in BCA course you have to choose the mathe subject to be eligible in MCA course. This is nesecery to choose the maths subject to selected in BCA course. |

MCA is two year course for this you have to pass graduation with maths.without maths you are not eligible for MCA exam. For admission in MCA Entrance Examinations Like IIT (JAM), NIMCET, JECA are conducted.for admission in MCA college you have to scored good marks in entrance exam. So don't worry you can take admission in another course .various option are available for you.you should try for them. best of luck. |

The eligibility criteria for BCA- *you must have maths in your 12th.. *you must have secure 50% marks in your 12th.. If you have these then only you can go for BCA ... And to apply for MCA , you have to first complete your BCA.. so, sorry to say you that you are not eligible for doing BCA and MCA also.. As you have mentioned that you have done your 12th without maths.. All the best.. |

Yes MCA is one of the best options to pursue after BCA.It has a very good scope.MCA(Master's in Computer Application) is a post graduation degree. But yes you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for MCA. Different institutes and colleges have different requirements but if you have at least 50-60% graduation level qualifying exam then you are applicable for most of the colleges. Secondly you need maths in your 10+2 level or at graduation level or at both levels as one of your subjects. You need to have completed an age of 21. |

Yes , may do this but not from any recognise univercity ,like IIT (JAM), NIMCET, JECA .because MCA is the Three Year Post Graduate degree course in Computer. And to get admission in this Course you have to complete your Graduation with Maths as a compulsory subject. So, If you are Interested to get admission in MCA course in Top Colleges,you must have math. So if you have not study Maths in your 12Th examination, you will not eligible for any good entrance examinations for doing MCA. THANKS, |

Academic Eligibility Criteria for BCA Course is as under. as you have not studied maths you are not likely to get admission as many universities demand maths subject- Candidate must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent The minimum marks secured in 12th standard should be at least 50% The candidate should have pursued the science subjects. The science subjects should include Physics and Chemistry Most institutes insist candidates should have pursued Mathematics during 12th standard |
