i have done msc biotechnology,now iam house wife ,26age. now i heard the notification about csir ugc exam on june 2012.please tell me the details and which subject can i choose and how to apply the application form.

I have done MSc in NANOTECHNOLOGY and I have passed BSc with chemistry major. Am i eligible for NET in chemistry. Also m pursuing Phd in a foreign university.
So plz let me know whether i m eligible for chemistry NET exam? Or let me not will i b eligible for lectureship without NET after completing my Phd. thanxs.

If you are MSc. you are already eligible for UGC CSIR NET exam.

Educational Criteria:
You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks

Age:
For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age.

For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age.

if you have M.Sc degree then you are eligible for CSIR NET examination irrespective of the degree is in regular mode or distance mode. but you have to fulfill other eligibility criterion also.


here i am attaching the total notification for CSIR NET examination. go through the attachment for complete eligibility criterion and other details about CSIR NET examination.

now the form fill up for this year is going on from 1st March, 2011. online submission of application will be closed on 31st March, 2011. the last date of sell of offline application form is 30th March, 2011.
DATE OF SINGLE MCQ EXAMINATION : 19.06.2011

Eligibility for UGC CSIR exam: -

1. Pass M.Sc. OR equivalent Degree Examination in any subjects from a recognized institute / university.

2. Age Limit For JRF (NET) = Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years.

3. Age Limit For LS (NET) = Minimum 19 years

4. Nationality = India

I have passed M.SC Chemistry from Bharatiar University,in distant mode.Am i eligible to appear For the UGC CSIR exam?
