I have my B.E CGPA of 6.44 (64 % conversion according to my university ) OBC category, whether I am eligible for the condition provided in case of 60% eligibility criteria in PSU's (or) as some persons are saying 60% means 6.75 CGPA so you are not eligible. What is correct??? |

Hi if you are appearing for interview on campus, top rankers would be taken by the PSU (unless you do exceptionally well) If you are apply off campus, you are required to have 65% in your graduation (70% in case of EIL and few other) for general candidates. Since you have 7.1, you can easily apply and appear for any interview. All the best |

PSU's demand 60% score in graduation. There are many government organizations which conduct on campus recruitment. like ONCG NTPC BHEL DRDO there are campus placements going on in several colleges like IIT's ISM NIT's generally they need you to have minimum 60% score in graduation. But, if you want to apply for the post of Executive Trainee in PSUs, then you have to scored minimum 65% marks in your B.tech. So. All PSUs take fresh B.Tech as Graduate Trainees as per their requirement. The selection are based on written test and interview. In your case, if your CGPA of 7.1 is out of 10 then you can definitely apply to PSUs. Apart from the marks in the graduation, they look for academic consistency. Thanks. All the best. |
