As such, there is no syllabus published for the exam. Actually, the exam is held for research program so you need to have all the basic concepts of your subjects theoretical as well as practical. One has to prepare it from all the core papers of one's graduation. The written test is completely objective type so all you need is to revise whole the core papers of your graduation at least once. Re: Syllabus for OCES Exam for Engineer trainees (Atomic research center training program) @Manii 1) Physics: Mathematics during BSc and MSc (Physics & Electronics) or equivalently BE (Engg. Physics). Chemistry: Std XII (Mathematics), Physics during BSc, and MSc (Chemistry). Biosciences: Std XII (Mathematics), BSc (Physics & Chemistry - Bio/ Agri) and MSc (all eligible Post graduate specializations mentioned in the OCES/ DGFS Advertisement in Employment news). 2) GATE Score: Here, merit list in each of the Science disciplines (codes 41-43) is prepared on the basis of valid GATE Score of the applicants. Cut-off GATE score and Written test marks for short-listing candidates for interview in each discipline are decided after the last date of receipt of applications. A candidate applying for Science disciplines (codes 41-43) can (i) opt to appear for the written test, or (ii) apply on the basis of valid GATE Score, or (iii) may opt to appear for written test and also apply for selection on the basis of valid GATE Score. If you are still confused,just follow the GATE syllabus for it. |
