CSE has more job opportunities than ECE.CSE have more job opportunities in private companies.Also getting job in govt.sector is more difficult.CSE is easier and interesting than ECE. Scope of ECE Both the groups are preferred equally but ECE definitely has an upper hand if you want to settle down in the core company sector.ECE has an upper hand because an ECE graduate can even settle down as a Software Engineer or he has much preference in the Government companies but an CSE Engineer can only be a programmer, designer and can find similar type of jobs.So, an ECE Engineer has many options in hand compared to the Software Engineer. Scope of CSE CSE has an upper hand in the Private sector.It is the much preferred group when coming to the MNC's and Software Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant,.etc.In the recent recession we have seen many people loose their jobs but compared to the CSE Group people belonging to other groups Mechanical and Electrical were sent back because they have less knowledge in this field compared to CSE group. So, it totally depends upon your interest about which stream to choose.Choose the group which your interested in rather than the group which has more scope because if you have the interest in a particular group then you will definitely have the knowledge to secure a jobs. thanks |

Computer science branch is very good branch for getting a job.You can easily get a job after engineering.If you have th ability then you can get job in TCS,MAHINDRA,HCL,INFOSYS like big IT companies. Many companies are situated in delhi,gudgaon,bengalore so u can get job from any company. You should learn several programming languages along with engineering. You can get govt job related to ece engineer.There is also so much scope for ece engineer.So if you want to settle down in public sector then ECE branch is good for you Its also depend on your choice. so all the best. |

BOTH branches are quite good. as my point of view you should take your intersting trade. so, you rech the top level in his study and carrier. ECE is also better then the CSE. bot there is not mean that cse branch is less scope. so, go your intersted way.... |

If you have interest in computers and you want to get a job in IT companies then you can go for Computer science department..As the IT market is now at booming stage.. so IT companies are hiring large number of technical students from the engineering colleges.. But if you have interest in core field as well as in computers then you can go for ECE.ECE is a branch from where you can go for any field.You can apply for IT sector jobs as well as you can apply for PSU exams for govt. jobs. |

But from my point of view ECE is preferable as one strong reason is peoples with this profession don't get much affected by recession as is the case with CSE and also ECE candidates has more chances of getting job in government sector which is not the case with CSE. Also ECE candidate can settle in software co. Rest it depends on your field of interest. |

It is totally depends upon personal interest.. You should go for a stream in which you have more interest.. If you have interest in computers and you want to get a job in IT companies then you can go for Computer science department.. Choose according to your intrest in respective branchs. ECE has little advantage over the CSE in defence sector as seats are more for ECe than CSE. You can choose any branch as both are demanding ones. But choose according to your intrest than the scope . |

Which has more scope? both the streams have their own importance.. the students with ECE branch have a little wider scope than the CSE students.. An ECE student can seat for core electronics companies as well as for the software companies.. there are also a lot of scope in PSUs for EC engineers.... while the CSE students are depended mainly on the private companiec like info, wipro, etc... there is very less or no scope for them in the govt. sectors.. but still , with lot of technical knowledge, a CS student can grow more as compared to the EC student... branch doesn't matters so much.. what matters is your technical knowledge about the field or branch you had opted.. make sure about takin that in which you will be comfortabl in every scope ... |

Dear friend, Both the branches tell by you are too good branches but were very logical branch.you have to do very hardwork in these branch to make your future bright. In computer science branch you deal with software thing and coding languages. In electronics thing you come to know about electronics world and small sensors which are so much helpful today. Many of the things in today's life are computerized and electronics. So,choose the branch according to your interest. |
