sorry to say dear after completion of 57% graduation , you are not eligible for maximum govt organization. you are eligible for railway department and BANK PO exam except SBI PO exam. so you should go for higher study like m-tech,ms,mba etc. all the best. |

Re: Jobs in Government sector after 57% marks in B.Tech? computer engineering is a stream which has ample job opportunities. The opportunities in this sector have been going up. They are eligible to apply for any of the government job vacancies that are available. Job opportunities exist in government as well as private departments for engineering graduates. The available post may be both technical as well as non technical in nature. Some of the government departments and organizations where they can apply in for jobs are as follows- * ISRO * DRDO * RRB * BHEL * SAIL * CDAC these candidates have high opportunity in Academic field too. The government exams that they can apply in are Civil Service exams, Defence exams such as Navy/ Coastguard, Bank recruitment exams etc. Hence there is no shortage in case of opportunities for computer graduates in government field. Most of the government jobs need the candidate to clear the written examination to apply for the different posts. The candidates will be selected only on the basis of their performance in the written exam. But, if selected government job will be good opportunity to attain high job prospects. |

Re: Jobs in Government sector after 57% marks in B.Tech? hi Now-a-days more number of jobs are available in government sector. jobs in government sector are normal for below 60% marks students in their degree or graduate.Any sector competition increases gradually for students. students can apply for Bank exams like clerks, probationary officers,and soon students can apply for police posts,APSRTC posts, uppsc exams,....... |

Dear friend, Your percentage in B.E. is less then 60% so I do not think that you can apply for any government job, because for all the government jobs they require minimum 60% marks. I would like to advise you to apply in private companies. All the best. |

Hello, After 57 % marks in B.Tech. you are not eligibile for any Government sector exams because in all government organisation like SAIL, NTPC, BHEL, State Electricity Board, DMRC, BSNL, MTNL, ONGC .....etc. minimum educational eligibility is 65 % marks from a regonised institute / university.
