Its tough to get in a good Engineering college after securing 11,5500 rank in EAMCET.It even depends upon your caste and the University zone your from.These two points are important since the the number of colleges may vary from area to area. If your a candidate of SC/ST stream then due to reservation you can secure a seat in a good college with this rank but if your from Gen category candidate then its very tough to secure a seat in a good Engineering college.. For Example:- 1.There are more than 100 Engineering colleges in Hyderabad Zone alone hence if your a candidate from Hyderabad then it will be a bit easy for you secure a seat. 2.If your a candidate from Visakhapatnam then there are about 60 Engineering Colleges in the Andhra University Zone hence you have less chances of securing a seat in a good college. It even depends upon the counselling procedure.Now a days branches like EEE,ECE,Mechanical are of huge demand and branches like CSE and IT are least preferred.Hence you can opt for these groups and secure a seat in a better college.You need to do a bit of home work and analyse things out to secure seat in a good Engineering college. |
