TNPSC group 4 exam pattern

The TNPSC paper consists of objective type questions only.

One part will be of General knowledge and other part will be of either general tamil or general english as per the choice of the candidate.

the general knowledge part will be available both in tamil and English.
The time allotted for the paper will be 3 hours.

The paper will be of 300 marks. Each part will consist of 100 questions and will be of 150 marks.

To qualify the paper the candidate will have to secure a minimum of 90 marks.

For general knowledge questions will be asked from - General Science, Indian geography, history and politics, Economics & Commerce, National Movement of India and current affairs.

For English language paper you will have to study out phrases and their meanings, synonyms, antonyms, prefix , suffix and complete grammar - noun, tense, voice etc.

=>You should be a minimum 12 pass out to sit for this exam.

=>Along with that you should have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.

=>Your age should be above 18 years to sit for this exam.
