M.Tech in Nanotechnology / Molecular Medicine Common Entrance Test is conducted for the admittance of students into the M.Tech degree offered by Amrita University.  Out of the 40 seats available, 30 seats are reserved for nanotechnology (20 Biomedical Stream, 10 for Technology Stream). The remaining 10 seats are meant for Molecular Medicine. The admission will be on the basis of the performance of candidates in the entrance exam.

Amrita University M.Tech in Nanotechnology / Molecular Medicine Common Entrance Test will have 5 sections. First 3 sections will be common for both the Biomedical Stream Students & Technology Stream Students. Questions will be based on the topics of qualifying bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Zoology) / MBBS / BDS / M.Pharm are eligible for the Amrita University M.Tech in Nanotechnology / Molecular Medicine Common Entrance Test. The degree with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University is a must. Those in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for the same.

How to Apply?

The candidates can obtain the application form along with the information brochure for Amrita University M.Tech in Nanotechnology / Molecular Medicine Common Entrance Test by post from various specified centres. For this, the candidate should send a written request along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering (payable at Coimbatore). The candidates can obtain the same from the University counters by fee payment. They can also apply online through the website www.amrita.edu. After online registration, the application printout along with the Demand Draft has to be sent to the institute. There is yet another provision of downloading the application form from the official website. One can also obtain the same from various designated branches of Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd. They will need to make a payment of Rs. 650/- in cash.

• Read the information brochure before filling the form
• All the columns in the form has to be filled by furnishing the exact details
• The completed application form along with all the necessary enclosures have to reach the destination before the deadline
• The candidates should write their name on the back of the Demand Draft
• Keep a photocopy of the filled application form and DD for future reference
