Apeejay Institute of Design 2011 UG Programmes
Apeejay Institute of Design is one of the most impressive Institutes based for the course of Design and offers admission to those who are interested in undertaking the four year bachelor programs. The Institute was set up in the year 1992 by the Apeejay Group. The Institute offers both the undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses based on design, fine rats, multimedia, fashion retail management, etc. However the Institute offers only three types of bachelor courses. The names of the courses are the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Design and the Bachelor of Multimedia. The courses offered by the Institute are awarded through the Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab.
The Institute undertakes an admission test, after the selection in which the candidates are called for personal Interview. The most interesting part of the whole test is that, the personal interviews along with the selection test are made on the same date without any prior failure. The Interviews of those candidates are held who have managed to clear the Selection test with a minimum of the cut-off marks as assessed by the Institute itself.
Courses offered by the Apeejay Institute of Design:
• Bachelor in Design (4 years):
1. Fashion: 30 seats
2. Textile: 30 seats
3. Interior: 30 seats
4. Graphics: 30 seats
• Bachelor in Fine Arts (4 years):
1. Painting: 20 seats
2.Applied Art: 20 seats
• Bachelor in Multimedia(4 years): 40 seats
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 in any discipline with atleast 45% aggregate marks in 2010 or 2011.
How to Apply:
Candidates can get the application form and the prospectus directly from the institute as well as by sending a request for the form by post along with a demand draft.
Important Dates(Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination: July 2nd week, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: July 1st week, 2011
