Name of the position: Artisans

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 54, which is divided as follows:

• Fitter – 24

• Welder – 08

• Machinist – 06

• D’man (Mechanical) – 05

• Electrician - 11

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will work as Temporary Artisans for one year and during this period, they will get a consolidated pay of Rs.11000. Selected candidates performing well as Best Apprentice will be inducted as Artisan Grade IV with two increments and apprentice coming in the second position will be inducted as Artisan Grade IV in the pay scale of Rs.11700-23000

Eligibility Requirement:

Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Artisan, candidates should possess the following educational qualification:

• Matriculation/SSLC/High School pass

• ITI + National Apprenticeship certificate in the appropriate trade and they should have secured not less than 60% of marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) both in ITI and in NAC examination

• The discipline selected by the candidates in NAC and ITI should be approved by NCVT

• Only candidates with same discipline in NAC and ITI will be considered for appointment
