Central Institute of Tool Design was established in the year 1968 under the Government of India. Shri Shujayat Khan is the Chancellor of the institute and there are about approximately 550 students studying in the institute. The institute works on the motto ‘The Institute for Enhancement of Technology’. The main campus of the institute is located in Hyderabad, India. This autonomous institute has a branch campus in Vijayavada and an extension centre in Chennai.

Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized institute is required.

4. Recruitment of Technician Grade-I (Design):
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Production is required.

5. Recruitment of Technician Grade-II:
Educational Qualification: ITI certificates in Machinist is required.
