Central Institute of Tool Design was established in the year 1968 under the Government of India. Shri Shujayat Khan is the Chancellor of the institute and there are about approximately 550 students studying in the institute. The institute works on the motto ‘The Institute for Enhancement of Technology’. The main campus of the institute is located in Hyderabad, India.
