Bishop Moore College was established in the year 1964 as a Junior College. Initially, the college was offering pre-degree courses alone under the affiliation of Kerala University. Now, the college is acting as a multi-faculty educational institution offering several courses under the University of Kerala. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council have re-accredited the college with B grade status.

• Three-year degree course in Bachelor of Commerce

• Degree Course in Biotechnology

To foster healthy atmosphere of co-operation and to nurture holistic development among the students, Bishop Moore College offers a wide range of opportunities for extra-curricular activities. Some of the activities like sports & games, college union, NSS, NCC encourages the leadership skills, team spirit and service spirit among the students. The other activities like tourism club, women’s cell, debating forum, career guidance and counseling enables the students to respond positively to the changes occurring in everyday life. The college has received the Palathulli Award for maintaining an eco-friendly campus.
