AICTE organizes an additional CMAT test for those candidates who could not take the test conducted earlier. Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can attend the test from 19-22 May, 2013. Topics like general awareness, logical reasoning, and data interpretation are asked for the test. Exam centers are arranged in cities like Nagpur, Kanpur, Belgaum, Madurai, and Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT (Additional Test) 2013-14

Graduation is the basic qualification insisted for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). Final year graduates are also eligible to apply. Through CMAT, candidates can seek admission to any of the following courses.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Executive PGDM)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM)

Though graduation is the basic qualification required, specific eligibility conditions is applicable for each course. For PGDM and MBA, candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. Those belonging to reserved category need to have at least 45% marks only. For executive PGDM, graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 5 year work experience is mandatory. No age restriction is there to apply for the test.

Exam Pattern for CMAT (Additional Test) 2013-14

CMAT is conducted as an online test. There will be four sections comprising questions from the following topics.

  • General Awareness
  • Language Comprehension
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation

Each section comprises a total of 25 questions for a maximum of 100 marks (in each section). Duration of the test is 3 hours.
