CMS College of Science & Commerce is a premier institution of higher education in the city of Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The college came into existence in the year 1988 and it was established by the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust. The college is shortly called as CMS CSC and it offers 16 courses at the UG level and 12 courses at the PG level in addition to research programmes in 9 disciplines. The college acts as an autonomous institution affiliated to the Bharathiar University. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution accredited with A grade status by the NAAC.

Eligibility and admission criteria:

Admission of students to all courses offered by the CMS College of Science & Commerce is done based on the marks secured by them in the qualifying examination. As far as UG courses are concerned, candidates who have completed 17 years of age and not more than 21 years of age as on the 1st of July of the year in which he/she is seeking admission are eligible to apply.

How to apply:

Prospectus and application form can be obtained either by post or in person from the campus of the college or from the office of the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust located in the city of Ganapathy at Coimbatore and cost of application is Rs.150 for UG courses and Rs.250 for PG courses, while for MCA alone, it is Rs.300. When application form is obtained through post, candidates will have to send a self-addressed envelope to the Admission Liaison Officer along with DD for the prescribed amount plus Rs.50 for postage charges extra.
