The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) was established for implementing various plans in order to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh. The Adviser to the Department of Information Technology of Chandigarh Administration is the Chairperson of the Society. The objectives of the society are to promote the IT industry in Chandigarh in compliance with the IT Policy of Chandigarh Administration, and to accomplish all related activities as outlined in IT Policy. The society also aims to encourage software exports, e-Governance, creation of IT Infrastructure, and generation of jobs in information technology sector as summarized in the IT Mission of the Chandigarh Administration. The society further aims at making the establishment & functioning of data processing computer centers and the development of software packages and other related items possible.

Job Profile:

The Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC), Chandigarh invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Computer Operator.

Pay Scale –  Consolidated pay of Rs. 9500 pm

Eligibility:

Educational qualification – The candidates must have completed matriculation from any recognized board with three years diploma in computer or office automation. Or, the candidates must have completed +2 with 6 months of computer operator course from any recognized institute.

Selection Process:

The selection process is through test/ interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/ interview.
