Jharkhand High Court has a sanctioned judge strength of 20. This is one of the newest High Courts in India. The court was established in the year 2000 under the Bihar Reorganisation Act, 2000. The deicison of the court can be appealed to Supreme Court of India only. The court is authorized by Constitution of India and has jurisdiction over Jharkhand state. The court actually came into existence after the state of Jharkhand was carved out of the state of Bihar. The current Chief Justice of the court is Justice Prakash Tatia since year 2010.

Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for filling up the following vacant position of Court Master in Jharkhand High Court. The position of Court Master is available in High Court of Jharkhand and Subordinate Courts in Jharkhand. All the eligibility conditions set for the specified position should be fulfilled by the interested candidates.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Court Master is 25 years as on 1 August 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Court Master is 35 years as on 1 August 2011.

Relaxation in the maximum age limit may be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes etc.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a Degree or Advanced Diploma in General Management from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess atleast five years experience or training in System and Process Management. Interested candidates are also required to have excellent communication skill alongwith the good computer application skills. All interested candiates are required to possess the precribed minimum educational qualification for applying for the post of Court Master in High Court of Jharkhand and Subordinate Courts in Jharkhand.

Court Master (in High Court of Jharkhand): Only 2 posts are available.
Court Master (in Subordinate Court in Jharkhand): Only 22 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Court Master (in High Court of Jharkhand): Consolidated salary of Rs. 50000 per month.
Court Master (in Subordinate Court in Jharkhand): Consolidated salary of Rs. 40000 per month.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 500 (by General and OBC categories candidates). SC/ST candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 400 only. The demand draft should be made from a Nationalized Bank. The demand draft should be made in favour of the Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi payable at Ranchi.
