Three years full time diploma holders in any of the following subjects from any institute, recognized by Government of India are eligible to apply for the post of Engineering Assistant in Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Those who have work experience in relevant area will be given preference. Candidates should have adequate knowledge in working with computers.

Age Restrictions

Candidates who are in the age group of 18 to 26 years are eligible to apply. Those who belong to Other Backward Class can avail relaxation in Upper age up to three years as per the notification issued by the Organization.

Candidates who wish to apply for this post are required to download the prescribed application form from the official website of Indian Oil Corporation. They have to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee. Fee payment can be done by taking a Demand Draft in favor of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Pipelines Division payable at State Bank of India. No other mode of fee payment is acceptable. Fully filled in application form should be sent by post along with copies of supporting documents and details of fee payment to “Human Resource Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Pipelines Division), HMRB Pipeline, PO: - Duilya, Andul – Mouri, Mourigram, Distt:- Howarh, PIN – 711 302”. Candidates are advised to send application within stipulated time. Late and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

Selection Procedure for Engineering Assistant (Operations) in IOCL

Eligible candidates will be sent call letter for written test as per the details submitted in the application form. Written test will contain subject oriented questions. Medium of instructions will be in Hindi and in English Language. Candidates can answer in any of these languages. Those who have cleared the minimum cut off in written test will be short listed. Final selection will be on the basis of medical test and personal interview.

Candidates who are selected as Engineering Assistant can earn salary package up to Rs. 11900/- to Rs. 32000/- per month. Apart from this, they will be paid other allowances as well.
