The environment sustains all form of life in various forms on the earth. The Mother Nature is very balanced and any form of disruption in her composition would destroy the earth. Pollution is the main contributing factor that affects the environment and causes harm to all dependent life forms- flora or fauna. Pollution is caused when a substance enter the environment in more percentage than required and harms the normal functioning of environment. Hence a work force is trained to control the environmental pollution and a diploma is offered in Environmental Pollution & Control.

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed class 10 or class 12 from any recognized with biology in their subject are given more preferences. The admission is based on the merit of the candidate and decided on the basis of marks scored in the exam. The candidate must possess a secondary school leaving certificate.

Course Outlook

The 2 year course of Diploma in Environmental Pollution & Control aims in training the students for maintaining and coordinating the controlling of environmental pollutions through modern techniques. In this course duration students are evaluated on the basis of practical examination as well as theoretical examination and marks are given on basis of Continuous Formative Assessment and End Semester Examination.
