CETIGIDS BDS 2011
Common Entrance Test for Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Science (CETIGIDS-Previously called ETPPDC) is conducted each year by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University for admission in to BDS course at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences. Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences is located in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute Campus which is part of Balaji Educational Charitable Public Trust.
Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences has a very good infrastructure and faculty. The faculty members are highly qualified and well experienced. A large number of students apply for the entrance test for admission in BDS course of Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences. A candidate can only appear once for CETIGIDS though SC/ST candidates can appear twice. The institute takes the admission through the Common Entrance test. The eligible candidates apply for the test with its requisite fee.
The institute invites the eligible candidates for the Common Entrance Test at the various Centers. The question pattern which has been asked in this exam is based on conceptual and analytical skills. The students from every corners of the country take party in this test. Since mass number of students take part in this exam so the selection procedure becomes very tough. The question paper is divided in two sections.
First section is related to the Physics and Chemistry and second section is related to the Botany and Zoology. The candidates have to cross the cut off marks for getting admission in the institute. The cut off depends on the students highest score. Everything depends on the score card so candidates having a deep and conceptual knowledge of the subjects will qualify in the exam and get all the facilities which are being provided by the institute to them. In fact the institute is one of the best institutes in India.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks(40% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English also as a subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010.
Availability of Application forms for CETIGIDS:
The forms for CETIGIDS are available in IGIDS College Office. The form can also be obtained by post from IGIGDS by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the application form.

Date of Entrance Test: last week of August, 2011
Last Date for receipt of Application Form: 2nd week of August, 2011
Declaration of result:last week of August, 2011
Pattern of Examination:
There will be two papers of two hours each containing only objective questions. First paper will be of Physics and Chemistry. Second Paper will be of Botany and Zoology.
