Today after the completion of the secondary course the students and also the parents are looking for a professional course to provide a concrete base for their career. They are not showing any interest in the traditional arts and science streams, though there are rare cases. The traditional courses become the last preference for the majority. The survey result shows that majority of the employers are not satisfied with the fresh graduate engineers. Around 64% saying that they are some what satisfied and 4% are not at all satisfied with the newly hired people. The 17% of eth employers are concluding that they are not very pleased with the fresher’s performance. The survey also states that the massive engineering pass out are failing to meet the demands from the employers side and they are failing at the communication, professional and employability skills. Our education system is also not showing any positive response for imparting these skills in the graduate level.

The increased numbers of engineering colleges are not meeting the quality standard both in the learning environment and in the teaching aids. The country lakhs the qualified professional as faculties and the p0rofessonal education system focusing more on the business side rather than spending on improving the needed talents in the candidates. Memorizing the books are not at all a skill in the present worlds and unfortunately our education system promoting the same starting from the primary level to the higher education level.
