There is physical health check up. This test is done to ensure the candidate is in good health. Blood tests are done as a part of it. Since you have Hepatitis B you will be disqualified. You need to look out for other career options.

Dear friend,
After a candidate apply for the IAS exam, he/she has to undergo a medical check up which has to be submitted to the IAS authority in the candidate's profile. So as you are having Hepatitis B in your blood then may be you will not be physically eligible to appear for this exam. For your more clear ideas about this, you can contact UPSC authorities or personals. Good luck! |

I'm not sure about Hepatitis B
But most of the Seniors told me that you should not have any current disease.. you can appear for IAS exam..and remaining Civil services you may not be eligible for IPS because for it you should physically fit with sound health.. If Hepatitis is life long problem i think you'll get rejected once counsel with some institute heads i mean Coaching Institute Heads.. they will know correctly.. all the best ~aditya~ |

After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam. I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. You should be medically fit if you want to become I.A.S officer. If you are suffering from hepatitis then i am sorry to say that you are not eligible for I.A.S exam. You can apply online or offline. The Form cost is just 20 Rs. For more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in ALL THE BEST! |
