Can I appear for IIT JEE while applied for improvement exam in 12th?
sir, i had passed 12th this year with 56% and i had applied for improvement. may i appear in iitjee? and if i will appear , wat should i fill at the option i.e passed or appearing?

Yes you can appear for the exam while you are an giving improvement exam. Show yourself as "Appearing" in the application form.

yes you are eligible for it.....but in my openion you should prepare for one year for the exam and then apply for it the next year,...that will be beneficial for you ......this time concentrate in your improvement exam and then go for iit..............

Yes dear friend,
you must go to fill the form for IIT-JEE if you show in the form that you are APPEARING candidate in class 12th in concerning year and if you fullfill the all eligibility criteria. |

hi friend,
you can appear for the exam like AIEEE AND IIT-JEE while giving improvement exam but the main thing that you have to keep in mind is that: at the time of counseling you should have cleared all your papers and should produce all the certificates |

hi,
you can appear for IIT-JEE exam while applied for improvement exam in 12th. and you have to write APPEARING in the exam passed column ,since you can not write the marks obtained in your last year. but you have to submit the marks sheet during the counseling of IIT-JEE. best of luck |

shalini, if your form was rejected during the first time of your form submission.....then it will amount to no appearance, and the next time will be treated as your first attempt.
but, if your exam-form was accepted and you were issued an admit card last time, then you take it as your final attempt. |

dear friend if you will appear in improvement exam of +2, then you have only one chance to appear in IIT-JEE & you have to obtain atleast 60% marks in your improvement exam, You will appear in IIT-JEE as an appearing candidate but for only one chance.
