Re: Can I apply to be a pilot in Indian Air force?
Yes, you can apply to be a pilot in the Indian Air Force after PGDM.
There are two ways to do this: 1 - Through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 2 -Through the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) The following eligibility criteria:- Age: You must be between the ages of 20 and 24 years on the first day of the month in which the application is made. Nationality: You must be a citizen of India. Medical fitness: You must be medically fit to be a pilot. Height: You must be at least 162 cm tall for men and 157 cm tall for women. Vision: You must have a minimum uncorrected vision of 6/6 in each eye and a minimum corrected vision of 6/6 in each eye. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the CDS or AFCAT exam. The selection process for both exams includes a written test, an interview, and a medical examination. If you are selected for the Indian Air Force, you will undergo training at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. |
