Can I apply for RTO written exam being a Diploma Electrical holder? How to apply?
Sir/Madam, I have now passed my Diploma in Electrical Engineering. I will get the result in next month. I want to apply for RTO exam. So, I will be able to give RTO written exam? If yes, how to apply for it?

Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.
It is conducted for following posts: Judicial Service, Clerk and Sub Assistant Engineer For Judicial Service post : You should be an Indian citizen. You must have a degree in law from recognized university. You should be in the age group of 23 year to 34 years. You should be able to read, write and speak particular state’s language. For Clerkship Post: You should be a citizen of India. You should have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized board. You should be between 18 years to 37 years. For Sub Assistant Engineer: You should be an Indian citizen. Your age not more then 32 years. You should have passed a 4 year degree in engineering in any streams Civil/Mechanical/Electrical. Being a Diploma Electrical holder, you are eligible to apply for Clerkship Post, if you fullfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned above. You are not eligible to apply for RTO exam after completing diploma course:-
In order to become an RTO officer the candidates needs to complete the graduation with a good percentage. The minimum percentage required is above 60% throughout the academics As you have completed diploma it is a good move to go for graduation in engineering and later on can apply for RTO Officer post. |

No, you are not eligible for RTO exam after diploma:-
In order to become an RTO officer the candidates needs to complete the graduation with good percentage. RTO officer details:- RTO exam is conducted by State Public Service Commission. It have different posts:- RTO Clerk RTO Judicial RTO Sub Assistant RTO clerk eligibility:- Candidate should be complete Secondary education or equivalent state or board education. Candidates age limit between 18 to 37 years. RTO Judicial eligibility:- Candidates should be completed degree in law from any recognised University. Candidates must be complete 23 to 34 years. RTO Sub Assistant eligibility:- Candidates should be complete graduation from a recognised University. Candidates age limit is between 21 to 32 years. Candidates must be citizen of India. Selection procedure:- Written Test Interview. |
