Can I become a Loco Pilot by diploma engineering?
If anyone have completed the diploma engineer then How he avail to be a loco pilot.

Yes. To become Loco Pilots, candidates must have completed an ITI degree from an institution approved by the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council of Vocational Training, or a degree or diploma in electrical/electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or automobile engineering from a recognized institute by the AICTE.

The minimum eligibility in terms of educational qualification for Loco pilot in Railway is class 10th or 12th qualified and ITI certification to fill ALP application form.
The candidates need to appear for an entrance exam for various streams such as mechanical, electronics, electrical or automobile to be eligible for loco pilot after 12th. |

Yes, Diploma holder in electronic can apply for Loco pilot in the Railways.
The minimum eligibility in terms of educational qualification for Loco Pilot in Railway is Class 10th qualified and ITI certification to fill ALP application form.
