Can I get lateral admission to study Diploma in Mechanical Engineering being a BSc graduate?
Sir, I have completed my BSc and now, I want to do Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering. I would like to know that can I get lateral admission for this Diploma course as I have already done my Graduation?

Lateral entry into diploma in mechanical engineering is provided to ITI diploma holders in specific stream or to class 12th with PCM stream candidates. Hence, if you fulfill any of these criteria, then surely you will be eligible.
B.Sc graduation will not give you any extra benefits. It will remain as a degree only. Instead, you can lateral entry into B.Tech, if you have got B.Sc in maths or physics. |
