Can I join B.Tech courses after completing ITI course?
I have completed my ITI course. Now, can I do B.Tech course from any UGC and AICTE approved engineering colleges as a regular degree course? Which branch or specialization has more job demands in India?

After completing an ITI course, you can enroll in the Diploma Engineering course through lateral entry, which allows students to enroll directly in the second year of the course. After completing your diploma, You can finish the BTech course through lateral entry.

Yes, ITI students can apply for lateral entry where they join directly in the second year of the diploma programme. Candidates can pursue a BTech. degree after the successful completion of the diploma course.
