I am a student of Electrical Engineering Diploma. After completing my Diploma program, I am eligible to study Aerospace Engineering in B.Tech? I want to know about this.

No, you are not eligible to study B.Tech Aerospace Engineering course after completion of your Diploma in Electrical Engineering. To be eligible to pursue B.Tech Aerospace Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Aerospace Engineering course or related stream from a recognised board. So, being a Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of Electrical Engineering course, but not in Aerospace Engineering course.

I am very sorry to say that after the completion of Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you cannot opt for B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering as you are not eligible for Aerospace Engineering. Since you are pursuing Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you can opt B.Tech or B.E in Electrical Engineering only. You are eligible for direct admission in the second year of B.Tech or B.E degree in Electrical Engineering through lateral entry process.
