You must be a graduate in any stream and then you have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the CBI. Your selection would be based on your performance in that test only and the eligibility criteria to appear in that entrance exam is that you must be a graduate.

Candidates between the age group 20 to 30 years can apply for sub inspector post in CBI through SSC CGL recruitment exam.
Those who have completed graduation are eligible Candidate has to pass physical fitness criteria like height , chest and vision. Thus minimum educational qualification is graduation.
