Diploma is equivalent to the 12th standard. So is this equivalent certificate valid for all government exams?.. Like bank exam, post office, talati mantri, and all government exam after 12th.

Note :- For some of the post the eligibility will be clearly mentioned about the respective qualification whether it is 12th/diploma or higher qualification.

So, if it is not mentioned then 12th is not equivalent to diploma degree.

Yes, a diploma degree course completed from a recognized university is considered equivalent to Class 12th in most cases which includes Banking jobs, and other government jobs.

So, you can apply for all government jobs with your diploma degree except those where it is explicitly mentioned that only Class 12th Passing certificate i.e; higher secondary school degree is required for the job application.

For getting job in banks, candidate must have bachelor's degree in commerce or management related specialisation .
Thus you can't secure job in bank until and unless you have completed class 12th and graduation.

The diploma is not considered equivalent to the 12th standard since diploma holders are somewhat a professional course and they can apply for their field. The diploma is completely different from the 12th, as the diploma core engineering gets starts from the second semester and the 11th/12th it's PCBM. A diploma is far beyond an intermediate, it holds it worth more than a Certificate & less than a degree and focuses more on Technical depth of knowledge. After the diploma, you are eligible to get any technical job.
