I have heard that Diploma holders in Plastic teachnology stream can work in the chemical industry. My question is that whether the Diploma in plastic is equivalent to Chemical Diploma?

Re: Is Diploma in Plastic Technology equivalent to Diploma in Chemical?
No, both are different streams and you can't get job as a chemical engineer with plastic technology diploma qualification. There are many plastic industries which recruit chemical engineers also.
Plastic technology is a specialised field which will be helpful in getting you a job in plastic industry. With experience you might get higher post. |

Yes, those candidates holding Diploma in Plastic Technology degree can work in Chemical Industry but it definitely doesn't means that Diploma in Plastic Technology and Diploma in Chemical Industry are the same. Both the courses are different and from two different fields.
