Eligibility criteria for Police constable post after diploma:-

No, diploma holder candidates are not eligible for police constable post.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognised board are eligible for constable post.

Your age should be between 18 to 25 years .

Selection procedure:-
The candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit, physical efficiency test followed by document verification and medical examination.

WB Police constable post Eligibility Criteria 2021:-

° Educational Qualification:-The candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute.

° Age Limit:- The candidates must not be below 20 years of age and not above 27 years of age on 1/1/2022.

The upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates of West Bengal only.
