I have done a 3 years advanced diploma in textile and fashion designing. And i am also teaching garment construction in a degree college. But I have been asked to clear NET so that i am eligible to teach in a college. But i want to know what would be the eligibility for me to go ahead with NET?

No, diploma in textile and fashion designing candidate are not eligible for UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. Marks relaxation is provided to SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam. If you can apply in JRF post then your age should be below 28 years.

Hi... I have done my masters in fashion designing and I am awaiting for the final results.. And I want to know which subject to be selected in net exam.. Because there is no related subject to fashion design in exam codes of net eligibility.. I need this net exam certification to teach in any university
