Eligibility for PDO exam? Diploma holder can apply for PDO exam?
Hi this is Varadaraj, I have completed my diploma can I apply for the post of pdo exam , since I have seen the PDO eligibility details at Google search there has mentioned the education preference will be given to diploma can any one confirm back

Eligibility for PDO exam:-
Every year exam PDO ( Panchayat Development Officer ) exam is a conducted by the State Government for recruiting the candidates for Panchayat Development Officer. Eligibility Criteria:- Education Qualification:- The candidate should have passed bachelor degree from a recognised University. Preference will be given to diploma, Visharada, Pandit, Padada Ratna etc, from Hindi Sabha. Age Limit:- The minimum age limit is 18 years. Relaxation of upper age limit: For General - 35 years. |

Educational Qualifications:- Candidates should possess bachelor's degree from a recognised University. Preference will be given to diploma, Visharada, Pandit Ratna etc. from Hindi Sabha. Nationality:- Candidates should be citizen of India. Age limit:- Minimum age limit is 18 years. |

Eligibility for PDO exam:-
° Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree from a recognized university. ° Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: For Category – 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B:- 38 years. For SC/ ST/ Cat – 1:- 40 years. Yes, diploma holders are eligible for this exam. Anyone with a bachelor's or diploma degree is eligible for the PDO exam. |

Eligibility:-
1- The applying candidate must possess a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. Bachelor’s degree like B.E., B.Sc, B.Ed will be accepted. Other degrees may also be accepted provided that it has equal educational value. The Master’s degree should be M.A., M.Ed, M.Sc, MCA, M.Tech or M.E. from a reputed and well-recognized university. 2- The minimum age for all the candidates for the post of Karnataka Panchayat Development Officer is 18 years as of 1 January 2021. 3- The maximum age for the general candidates is 35 years as of 1 January 2021. No, Diploma holder can't apply for PDO exam. |

The eligibility to apply for PDO (Panchayat Development Officer) is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree and Master's degree such as BE/BEd/BSc or equivalent with MA/ME/MSc/MEd/MCA/MTech from a recognized university. A candidate's minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 35 years. A diploma holder can apply for the PDO examination, preference will be given to diploma, Visharada, Pandit, Padada, Ratna, etc from Hindu Sabha.
