Eligibility to study Post Master's Diploma Non-wood Forest Products course in Forest Research Institute, Dehradun;

You should have passed Bachelor’s degree with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or B.Sc. degree in Forestry from any recognized university.

Forest Research Institute, Dehradun conducts written test for selection of candidates. So you have to qualify the written test in order to get secure admission into the course.

You must have at least post Graduate degree in Botany/Forestry, Organic Chemistry, Agriculture with specialization in cultivation of medicinal plants, MD in Pharmacology etc with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.


The selection of the candidates will be done through the entrance examination conducted by the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.
