To get admission in Second year of B.Arch course, you have to appear for Lateral entry entrance exam, which is conducted in your state. If you qualify in such exam, then you will get direct admission in Second year of B.Arch course in any college, depending upon your rank in entrance exam. And it is not possible to do this course through correspondence, because through lateral entry exam, you can get admission only in colleges, which does not offer distance education.

B.Arch is a technical course and you can't do it in distance mode according to AICTE rules. This course is has both theory and practicals and you have to attend regular classes to attain this qualification from a AICTE approved college.

For lateral entry admission you need to have D.Arch qualification with at least 60% marks. Then you have to apply for those entrance exams which have lateral entry procedure. Some of the entrance exams are JELET, DET, UPSEE etc. You have to get a decent rank to get admission in your choice of college through counselling.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
