Respected sir/madam ,i am doing diploma in computer science, my diploma will over in march of this year ,i want to join indian army after diploma ,sir please tell me how to join army and what are the steps to follow and i have relationship certificate.

After being selected for TGC Course and completing engineering, you will be trained in Indian Military Academy for a period of One Year. You will be commissioning with One-Year Seniority. That means you will become “Captain” on completion of the second year of service.

To join the Indian Army after completing a Diploma in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), you can apply for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) or the Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical Entry.

Here are the eligibility criteria and the steps to join the Indian Army after completing a Diploma in CSE:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

Age: You should be between 20 to 27 years of age.

3. Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical Entry:
SSC Technical Entry is another entry option for diploma holders in CSE.
The selection process includes a written exam conducted by the Indian Army, followed by a personal interview, medical examination, and a final merit list.
The SSC entry allows you to join as a commissioned officer on a short-term basis.

4. Application Process:

The CDS Examination is a competitive exam that is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. To be eligible for the CDS Examination, you must have a Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institute and have scored at least 60% in the final examination. You must also be unmarried and have a valid passport.

The following are the steps on how to join the Indian Army after Diploma CSE through the TGC:

1. Apply for the TGC online on the website of the Indian Army.
2. Appear for the TGC written examination.
3. If you are shortlisted, you will be called for an interview.
4. If you are selected, you will be commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army.

The following are the steps on how to join the Indian Army after Diploma CSE through the CDS Examination:

1. Apply for the CDS Examination online on the website of the UPSC.
2. Appear for the CDS written examination.
3. If you are shortlisted, you will be called for an interview.
4. If you are selected, you will be commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army.
