I have taught as a Assistant Professor for 9 years despite having PGDM, PGCM, PGCE, in management and Education. Do I still need a NET qualification?
I would be 50 yrs in August 2017. I have taught as a Asst Prof for 9 yrs now despite having PGDip Management, PGCert Management, PGCert Education, in management and Education. Later MBA and Doctoral. Do I still need a NET qualification?

Yes, you still need a NET qualification. The NET exams are mandatory and compulsory if you want to be an Assistant Professor/Lecturer across India. According to the UGC rule, only the NET exams are the gateway or entry for becoming Assistant Professor.

It's mandatory and compulsary , if you want to be an Assistant Professor / lecturer across India.
Only UGC NET/CSIR NET/ ICAR NET exam is gateway or entry for becoming Assistant professor. PhD degree will be mandatory for all those who wish to join university department as Assistant professor . |
