IIT is Indian Institute of Technology and it is a premier institute for technical course in India.
There is no lateral entry in institute and you can get admission in the course only if you will qualify in JEE. |

Admission through lateral entry is not offered in IITs.
Admission in B.Tech course is offered only after qualifying in the JEE. So, you will have to appear and qualify in the both stages of examination for admission in IITs. |
