Hello everyone, can anyone of you tell me about the eligibility criteria for applying in UPUMS CPNET for admission in GNM course? I want to apply in this entrance exam but I don’t know about the eligibility criteria. Kindly tell me immediately.

The required eligibility to appear in UPUMS CPNET 2019 is given below.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate should have passed 12th class from a recognized board.

2. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.

3. The upper age of the candidate should not be greater than 35 years.

4. As per the given information, only female candidates can apply to the ANM course.

Eligibility to apply for UPUMS CPNET 2019 is mentioned below:-

—> Educational Qualification:-
You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.

—> Age Limit:-
1. For GNM (General Nurse and Midwifery)/ ANM( Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifery):- Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 31.12.2019.
2. For other courses:- Minimum age limit is 17 years.

Eligibility Criteria required to appear in UPUMS CPNET Examination:

The basic eligibility criteria required to appear in UPUMS CPNET Examination is given below,

Name of the Organization - Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS)

Name of the Examination - CPNET (Combined Paramedical and Nursing Entrance Test)

>> You must have completed or passed 12th Class in 10+2 pattern or its equivalent from a recognized board in order to be eligible.

>> Candidates who have completed their schooling from Uttar Pradesh need not submit a domicile certificate. Otherwise, candidates have to submit this certification of domicile.

>> Maximum age should not exceed 35 years for GNM course or ANM course. On the other hand, minimum age limit is 17 years.

Eligibility to appear in the UPUMS CPNET 2019 is given below:

Candidates applying for the UPUMS CPNET 2019 must be the candidates of Uttar Pradesh

Candidates must have completed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English subject from a recognized board or university with at least 45% marks

Candidates who are above the age of 17 years and below the age of 35 years are eligible to apply

The eligibility criteria for the UPUMS CPNET in GNM course are mentioned below


- Applicants must be from Uttar Pradesh

- Applicants must complete senior Secondary Education

- Applicants must have the domicile certificate of U.P

- Applicants must be in the minimum age of 17 years on December 31, 2018
