What will be my future after pursuing diploma in civil. Do you think choosing a diploma in Civil is a wise decision?

I have scored 88% in my 12th standard and wanted to do civil engineering. But my relatives do not see a promising career in Civil. They often confuse me with their suggestions. Can you help me choose the best course here? I’d like to know whether choosing Civil is a good option or not.

Since, you have completed your class 12th and scored 88% of marks in it , you can very much opt for the B.Tech or BE degree course in Civil Engineering.
You don't get confused about your future as after the completion of B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, you will have a lot of job opportunities in different firms as a Civil Engineer.
You can expect employment in any of the Construction company as a Site Engineer, Design Engineer, Structural Engineer etc.
You can also become a Design Engineer in the relevant field.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
