I am 29 years of age and working in a private firm. I have done my BCom course, I want to do MBA course. And for this course I want to apply for an education loan. I also have a savings account in Bank of Baroda. So, I want to know about the age limit for applying an education loan in this bank.

Age limit to apply for an Education Loan in Bank of Baroda:-

The candidate applying for the loan must be a resident of India. He/She must have confirmed admission in recognised education institute in India or abroad.
The age of the candidate must fall within the bracket of 18 to 35 years during loan application.

There is no specific restriction regarding the age of a student in order to be eligible for an education loan.

The age of joint applicant / co-borrower / guarantor should be minimum 21 years at the time of loan origination and maximum age at the time of loan maturity can be 70 years.

For getting an education loan, candidate must be an Indian citizen, he must have taken admission in any of the reputed college for the aforesaid course.

Before granting any loan ,banks do check the financial status of student whether they would be able to return thr loan in near future or not.
For loan upto 4 lacs , there is no collateral security as well as third party gurantee involved.

There is no age limit to apply for education loan in Bank of Baroda.

Loan Security:- Up to 4 lacs - No security required.

From 4 to 7.50 Lacs - Collateral security in form of third party guarantee.

Above 7.50 Lacs - Tangible collateral security equal to 100% of the loan amount.
