Hello Sir, my daughter wants to apply for the Assam Pre-Matric SC Scholarship. I don’t know what benefits she will get if she applies for this scholarship as she is studying in 9th standard. So, I just want to know about the benefits of applying for this type of scholarship. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

°°° The value of scholarship for the category of SC includes:

Detail of scholarship along with other grants and candidate with disability shall get extra amount.

Scholarship per month for 10 months will be rupees 225 for day Scholars and rupees 525 for hostellers.

Adhoc grants will be rupees 750 for day Scholars and rupees thousand for hostellers.

Monthly allowance will be rupees 160 for Blind Students.

Allowance for Transport if the candidate do not live in hostel then it will be rupees 160 for disabled students.

Monthly escort amount for severely disabled candidate is rupees 160.

Monthly helper allowance is rupees 160.

Monthly coaching allowance to mentally retarded and mentally ill students is rupees 240.

> Scholarship of INR 225 per month and INR 525 per month for 10 months.
> Books and Ad-Hoc grant of INR 750 per animal and INR 1,000 per annum.
> An additional allowance of up to INR 240 per month for students with disabilities studying in private unaided schools.

Benefits of applying in Assam Pre-Matric SC Scholarship 2020 is as follows.

--> Applicant will get scholarship of INR 225 per month (for day scholars) and INR 525 per month (for hostellers) for 10 months.

--> Applicant will also get Books and ad-hoc grant of INR 750 per annum (for day scholars) and INR 1,000 per annum (for hostellers).

--> Applicant will also get an additional allowance of up to INR 240 per month for students with disabilities studying in private unaided schools.

* Reimbursement of compulsory non refundable fees
* Study tour charges: upto Rs. 1600 per annum
* Thesis typing/ printing charges: upto Rs. 1600
* Book allowance: upto Rs. 1200 per annum.
* Book bank facility: upto Rs. 7500
* Additional allowance for students with disabilities: upto Rs. 240 per month
