Can I get Tax Rebate against Education Loan of Rs. 6.2 Lacs if working in CCL?


Hello Sir,
My name S.S Dubey and working in CCL.
i have taken education loan of Rs 6.2 Lacs
from Bank of India for my son who is
pursuing MBA from Symbiosis College.
Will I get Tax Rebate?

Yes, you will get income tax rebate for the education loan you had taken for your son to pursue MBA course. However, make sure you have adequate proof since you will have to show that you are co-borrower of the education loan along with your son to get an exemption in your income tax.
