Hello Sir/Madam, I want to apply for the National Overseas Schedule Caste Scholarship Scheme. But I don’t know about it’s eligibility criteria. I am currently pursuing a BCA(H) course and looking forward to doing my MS in Abroad. Can you please let me know about it’s eligibility to apply for 2020 as I belong to a Schedule Caste? Please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap. Thank you!

Educational Qualification:

••• For PhD: 55% marks or Equivalent weight in relevant Master's degree.

••• For Master's degree: 55% marks or equivalent grade in relevant bachelor's degree.


Age limit:

•••Below 35 years, as on 1st April of the selection year.

Eligibility to apply for National Overseas Schedule Caste Scholarship Scheme 2020 are as mentioned below:-

Applicant must be willing to pursue master's level course and PhD abroad.

Applicant must have obtained at least 60% aggregate or equivalent grade in relevant Master's degree (for PhD) or in Bachelor's degree (for Master's degree).

Applicant must be below 35 years of age, as on 1st of April 2020.

Applicant must have an annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 Lakhs per annum.

Applicant must belong to any of the following categories - SC, Denotified Nomadic Tribes, Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers and Traditional Artisans.

Note - Not more than 2 children of the same parents /guardians will be eligible for scholarship under this scheme.

Eligibility to apply for National Overseas Schedule Caste Scholarship Scheme 2020:-

> Educational qualification:-
. For Masters : Minimum 55% or its equivalent at the undergraduate level.
. For Doctorate : minimum 55% or its equivalent at the masters level.

> Applicant must be below 35 years as on April 1st, 2020.
> Maximum permissible income limited : total family income should not exceed 6,00,000 INR.

Eligibility to apply for National Overseas Schedule Caste Scholarship Scheme 2020 are as follows:-

Candidates who want to pursue Master’s level course and PhD abroad.

Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in Master’s degree for PhD.

Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in Bachelor degree for Master’s degree.

Age limit should be maximum 35 years as on 01/04/2020.

Candidate must belong to any one of the following categories and these are as follows:-
Scheduled castes
Denotified Nomadic Tribes
Semi-Nomadic Tribes
Traditional Artisans
Landless Agricultural Labourers
