Dear friends, I am a 9th standard student and I want to apply for the PROMYS Tara and Jasubhai Mehta Fellowships in Mathematics of this year. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply for this fellowship programme. Please let me know immediately.

Eligibility to apply for the PROMYS Tara and Jasubhai Mehta Fellowships in Mathematics 2021

An applicant must either be an Indian citizen or an Indian resident.

Applicant must be between 14 and 18 years of age.

Applicant must be studying in secondary or Higher Secondary Schools.

An applicant must not be already attending University and progressive English language skills sufficient to enable full participation.

Eligibility to apply for the PROMYS Tara and Jasubhai Mehta Fellowships in Mathematics 2021 can be seen below.

Your age must be 14 to 18 at the start of PROMYS.

You must be at school in India and/or citizen of India (or OCI card holder).

You must be student at high school/secondary school in grades 9 - 12 (9th or 10th standard, +1, +2, or PUC) when applying. Sixth form college and home-schooled students are also eligible.

Students who are already attending university are not eligible.

You must be in need of financial assistance to attend PROMYS.

You must be able to participate fully in mathematical discussions held in English.
