What is co-borrower in South Indian Bank Education Loan scheme?
I want to study BTech with the help of an education loan. I want to apply an education loan in South Indian Bank. I have heard about the education loan of this bank but don’t know about the co-borrower term. Can I know about the co-borrower?

Re: What is co-borrower in South Indian Bank Education Loan scheme?
The student’s parent/ spouse/ guardian can be their co-borrower. A co-borrower can a immediate family member and must be a citizen of India.
In case of*major*students, borrower can be the student him/herself along with at least one of his/her parents as guarantor.*Net worth of the*guarantor/s should not be less than the loan amount. If parents are not available, then close relative can be guarantor. In the case of minor students, one of the parents can be the borrower along with the other parent/ close relative as guarantor. |
