Hello everyone, I got a job in USA after completing MS here. I have taken education loan from Bank of Maharashtra. I got on placement job. So, I have to inform the bank about my placement? And from when they will start to take back their money?

Yes you should inform about your placement to the bank of maharastra. Since from then onwards you should start repayment of principal and interest .

Usually any bank which is nationalized will follow.the same mode of repayment both india and abroad studies.

There is a term called Moratorium.period which means course period + 6 months right after getting of job or 1 year from the date of course completion which ever is earlier.

So in this you should repay the amount .
