Hello, I am a fresher, working in TCS from the last 3 months. I am in need of an education loan upto Rs. 8 Lacs. I have one friend and he is staying from the last 5 years in Bangalore. He is earning much more than me. So, is he eligible as a guarantor for my education loan?

Almost anyone can be a guarantor as long as you have separate bank accounts.
However , one can only be a guarantor to whom you trust .
The person becoming a guarantor must be a trustworthy person and are willing and able to cover the repayments for.
And on their own will they are acting as a guarantor.
